HRO Today Forum Day 1 Recap

We hope all of our attendees enjoyed the first day of the HRO Today Forum in Chicago! It was a great success, with many highlights.

The day kicked off with sessions:
  • Digitizing the HR Process: From Competing for Top Talent and Throughout the Employee Lifecycle with Mason Stubblefield, Vice President of Rewards, Technology and Operations, Adobe 
  • Motivating in the Digital Workplace: Case Studies that Demonstrate ROI with Karen Hsu, VP of Marketing, Badgeville 
  • Challenging the AI Revolution in HR with Tim Jones, Global Head of RPO and Partner Consultancy, Lumesse 
  • The Holy Grail of Global Payroll – How Microsoft Found It with Victor Garcia Muñoz, Global Payroll Senior Director, Microsoft
The turnout was great and all of our speakers were excellent and engaging! Thanks to all who attended.

Following the reception, attendees moved into the ballroom for the annual CHRO of the Year Awards Gala.

HRO Today CEO Elliot Clark kicked off the gala with an introduction, and we heard from many of our esteemed colleagues in HR.

The awards were then announced over dinner. We'd like to congratulate all of our finalists and winners.

CHRO of the Year For Profit winner: Laurie Dalton of gategroup North America
CHRO of the Year Sustainable Workforce winner: Pat Wadors of LinkedIn
CHRO of the Year Lifetime Achievement Award winner: Kimberly Hauer of Caterpillar

For the past several years, the HRO Today Awards Gala has been the highlight of the year and an aspiration for those in the HR industry both regionally and globally. The theme of the 2016 event was Be Connected! – HR Technology, Services and Leaders Unite.
